This Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") applies to the Vodeon.ai mobile application, television application, website, distributor portal, device management system, software features and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), developed, owned and operated by Rhysley Private Limited ("Rhysley", "Vodeon.ai", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing, downloading, installing or otherwise using the Platform in any capacity – whether as an End User, Service Provider, distributor, administrator or visitor – you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this Disclaimer in full. This Disclaimer should be read together — with the Vodeon.ai Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, both of which form part of the overall agreement governing use of the Platform. Where a conflict arises between this Disclaimer and the Terms of Use — the Terms of Use will govern to the extent of that conflict.
This Disclaimer is intended to clarify the nature of the Platform, the limits of Rhysley's role and the categories of information, Content and functionality for which Rhysley does not accept responsibility. It does not limit or reduce any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
2. General Disclaimer
The Platform, including all features, functionality, information, recommendations, interfaces, tools and materials made available through it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties or representations of any kind—whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness — for a particular purpose, title or non infringement.
Rhysley does not warrant that the Platform will meet your specific requirements — that access will be continuous or fault free or that any error, defect or omission will be identified or corrected. Your use of the Platform and any reliance you place on information — Content or functionality accessed through it, is entirely at your own risk and discretion.
Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit any warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Platform is used.
3. No Ownership or Control of Content
Rhysley is a technology platform provider only. Rhysley does not create, produce, own, upload, select, curate, publish, broadcast, transmit, retransmit, distribute, sell or license any television channels, movies, programmes, live streams, video on demand libraries, audio, artwork, subtitles, metadata or other media content ("Content") accessible through the Platform.
All Content available through the Platform is sourced, supplied, managed, scheduled and controlled entirely by independent Service Providers who use the Platform's technology infrastructure to reach their own customers. The presence, availability, ranking or promotion of any Content on the Platform does not mean that Rhysley owns, licenses, produces, verifies, edits or otherwise controls that Content in any way.
Vodeon.ai should not be understood, described, marketed or relied upon as a broadcaster, television channel operator, content producer, content aggregator, content owner or content licensing entity. Any impression to the contrary arising from the design, branding or presentation of the Platform is unintentional and does not alter the underlying legal relationship described in the Terms of Use.
4. No Responsibility for Third Party Content
Rhysley makes no representation — warranty or guarantee, express or implied, regarding the legality, licensing status, authenticity, ownership, accuracy, completeness, quality, decency, appropriateness or continued availability of any Content made available by a Service Provider through the Platform.
Each Service Provider is solely responsible for:
obtaining and maintaining all licences, permissions, broadcasting rights, distribution rights, copyright permissions, trademark permissions, consents and regulatory approvals required for its Content and services;- The accuracy, legality, classification and appropriateness of the Content it makes available to its customers;
- Ensuring its Content complies with applicable broadcasting standards, censorship rules, age classification requirements and consumer protection laws in each territory where it operates;
- Any claims, disputes, penalties, regulatory action or losses arising directly or indirectly from that Content.
Rhysley does not, as a general practice, investigate, pre screen, edit or independently verify Content supplied by a Service Provider before or after it becomes available through the Platform, except where required for compliance, security, copyright complaint handling or other legal purposes as described in the Terms of Use. The absence of such review at any given time should not be interpreted as approval or validation of the Content in question.
5. No Endorsement
The inclusion, availability, ranking, categorization or promotional placement of any Service Provider, channel, programme, advertisement or piece of Content on the Platform — does not constitute or imply endorsement, approval sponsorship, verification, partnership or affiliation by or with Rhysley.
References to any Service Provider's name, brand, trademark, logo or Content on the Platform – in marketing materials — or in app store listings are for identification and functional purposes only and do not indicate any business relationship beyond the Service Providers use of the Platform's underlying technology infrastructure.
Users should not assume that a Service Provider – or its Content has been vetted, audited or certified by Rhysley for quality, legality or reliability simply because it appears on or is accessible through the Platform.
6. Accuracy of Information Disclaimer
Programme guides, schedules, episode listings, synopses, artwork, ratings, genre tags, categories, content classifications, subtitles and other informational or descriptive content displayed on the Platform ("Metadata") are typically supplied by Service Providers or sourced from third party data providers and may be incomplete, outdated, mislabelled, mistranslated or otherwise inaccurate.
Rhysley does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or reliability of Metadata and is not responsible for any decision made, action taken or expectation formed in reliance on it — including decisions about what to watch, age appropriateness or scheduling.
Where Metadata is generated or supplemented through automated or AI assisted processes, the additional disclaimers in Section 7 apply.
7. AI Generated Recommendations and Search Results Disclaimer
The Platform may use artificial intelligence, machine learning and other automated systems to generate search results, content recommendations, categorization, trending and "recently added" flows and personalized suggestions ("AI Features").
AI Features are automated outputs generated based on factors such as viewing activity, search behaviour, ratings, favourites, selected genres, Content interactions, available Metadata and general usage patterns across the Platform. They are provided purely for user convenience and discovery and:
- Do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, relevance, timeliness or suitability of any recommendation, ranking or search result;
- Do not confirm or verify that any recommended, promoted or displayed Content is legally licensed, properly classified, age appropriate or free from error;
- May reflect statistical patterns, incomplete data or limitations, biases or errors inherent in automated or machine generated systems;
- May differ from user to user, region to region or over time as underlying models and data change.
Users should exercise independent judgment and should not rely solely on AI Features when making decisions about what Content to access, purchase or allow others — including minors — to view. Rhysley disclaims all responsibility for outcomes, losses or dissatisfaction arising from reliance on AI generated output.
8. Availability and Technical Disclaimer
Rhysley does not guarantee — that the Vodeon Platform or any Content, feature or function accessible through it —will be available at all times, uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free or fully compatible with every Device, operating system, firmware version, network condition or geographic location.
Access to and performance of the Vodeon Platform may be affected by factors outside Rhysley reasonable control, including but not limited to internet connectivity issues, —Device limitations or incompatibility, Service Provider system outages or maintenance, third party service or infrastructure failures, scheduled or emergency maintenance, software or firmware updates, regional bandwidth restrictions or legal or regulatory restrictions in a given territory.
Rhysley disclaims liability for any resulting disruption, delay, buffering, degraded audio or video quality, dropped connections or loss of access.
Where a Service Provider imposes Device activation limits, —territorial restrictions or other access conditions, Rhysley is not responsible for any resulting limitation on a user's ability to access Content.
9. Errors, Omissions and Technical Inaccuracies
While Rhysley aims to keep the Platform interface, navigation, descriptions, pricing displays (where applicable) and general informational content accurate and current — the Platform, associated websites and app store listings may from time to time contain typographical errors, technical inaccuracies, outdated information or omissions.
Rhysley reserves the right to correct any such errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change, update or remove information at any time — without prior notice and without incurring any obligation or liability as a result. Users should not treat any single instance of displayed information as a binding representation by Rhysley.
10. Trademark and Third Party Names Disclaimer
All trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, channel names, programme titles, artwork and other identifying marks — displayed on or through the Platform that are not owned by Rhysley belong to their respective owners including Service Providers, content rights holders, Device manufacturers and other third parties.
Reference to any third party name, mark or logo on the Platform in marketing materials or in support communications is for identification and informational purposes only and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, certification or endorsement by or of Rhysley, unless expressly and separately stated otherwise in writing.
Nothing in this Disclaimer grants any user a licence to use Rhysley's or any third party's trademarks, logos or brand assets outside the intended functionality of the Platform.
11. No Professional Advice
Any general information, guidance, help centre articles, FAQs or communications made available through the Platform — whether by Rhysley or a Service Provider, are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, technical, regulatory, medical or other professional advice of any kind.
You should not act or refrain from acting based solely on information found on the Platform and should seek independent professional advice — appropriate to your specific circumstances before making decisions that may have legal, financial or other significant consequences.
12. Regional and Regulatory Variation Disclaimer
The Platform may be accessed from multiple countries and territories, each of which may have different laws relating to broadcasting, content classification, censorship, consumer protection, data protection and licensing. Rhysley does not represent or warrant that — the Platform or any Content accessible through it, is appropriate, lawful or available for use in every jurisdiction.
Where use of the Platform is prohibited or restricted by local law, users are responsible for ensuring their own compliance. Access to certain Content, features or Service Providers may vary or be unavailable — depending on the user territory, device type or applicable regulatory requirements and Rhysley disclaims responsibility for such variation.
13. Age Rating and Parental Guidance Disclaimer
Age ratings, content advisories and parental guidance indicators displayed on the Platform are generally supplied by Service Providers or sourced from third party classification systems and are provided for general guidance only. Rhysley does not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy of such ratings across every title, channel or territory.
Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising and controlling the Content accessed by children — under their care, including through any parental control features made available by a Service Provider or Device manufacturer. Rhysley disclaims responsibility for Content viewed by minors where appropriate parental controls were not enabled or enforced.
14. Device and Third Party Compatibility Disclaimer
The Platform may be accessed through a variety of Devices — including mobile phones, tablets, Smart TVs Android TV devices and third party streaming devices such as Roku or Amazon Fire TV Stick. Rhysley does not manufacture or control these Devices and disclaims responsibility for hardware defects, firmware issues, operating system changes or manufacturer side restrictions that may affect the Platform performance or availability on a given Device
Continued compatibility with any specific Device, operating system version or third party app store policy is not guaranteed and required updates to maintain compatibility may result in temporary or permanent loss of functionality on unsupported or outdated Devices.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law — Rhysley, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors licensors and agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary loss or damage of any kind arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use —the Platform, any Content accessed through it, any Service Provider acts or omissions or any reliance placed on information, recommendations, Metadata or materials made available through the Platform.
This Disclaimer should be read together with and does not replace, the full Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability provisions set out in the Vodeon.ai Terms of Use, which apply in full to your use of the Platform and take precedence in the event of any inconsistency.
16. Changes to This Disclaimer
Rhysley may update, amend or revise this Disclaimer at any time to reflect changes in the Platform, its features, business operations, applicable law or regulatory requirements. Updated versions will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued access to or use of the Platform following the publication of a revised Disclaimer constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Where required by applicable law, Rhysley will provide additional notice of material changes.
